Anthony Planche

Multi-instrumentalist PLANK, aka Anthony Planche, started playing diatonic accordion at the age of 10, then electric bass the following year.
Immersed in the folk and traditional music scene, he soon began performing live.
A few years later, he moved into contemporary music as a bassist, graduating from the M.A.I in Nancy in 1998.
Over the years, he added double bass and guitar to his range of instruments.
Anthony founded the groups Plank Polytimbré and Mi Corps à Son, among others and accompanied artists such as Nilda Fernandez, Clare and Alex Zeem. He also plays in the group Volska, together with Bruno Le Tron and François Heim.
During the summer of 2023, he ran an accordion workshop at Ca’ Lucente, a magnificent house in the Urbino countryside in Italy, meeting point for professional and amateur musicians, an experience he will be repeating this year in conjunction with Bruno Le Tron.
