Diatonic accordion workshop with Anthony Planche from 12 to 18 August 2023, Urbino (Italy).
Level: beginners and intermediate
Technical work and musicality around simple themes (choice of pieces according to the level, and the type of accordion, 2 or 3 rows, 8, 12 or 18 basses).
Develop ideas for arrangements.
Right hand work, ornamentation, and variations. Pushed and crossed draw.
Left hand work (independence, creating bass lines, developing a harmony).
Developing ideas and proposals to enrich one’s own playing
Work essentially oral, no scores. Possibly chord charts if necessary.
Provide a Dictaphone if possible
Arrival: Saturday from 17:00
Departure: Friday before 11:00
Public: Adults from 7 to 10 trainees
Accommodation: rooms for 3 to 4 people, on site or in nearby establishments.
Food: fresh and if possible local products

The course enrolment includes an advance payment of Euro 200, which will be refunded in full if cancelled within 30 days of the start of the course. In case of cancellation after this date we are obliged to withhold it.

Multi-instrumentalist, PLANK alias Anthony Planche starts playing diatonic accordion at the age of 10, then electric bass the following year.
Immersed in the folk and traditional music scene, he quickly performed on stage.
A few years later, he started playing modern music as a bassist and graduated from the M.A.I in Nancy in 1998.
The double bass and the guitar will join the panel of instruments over the years.
