Double bass, electric bass and ensemble music MasterClass with Ares Tavolazzi on 14 and 15 December 2024, in Urbino (PU).
In this MasterClass, various aspects of the electric bass and double bass will be addressed.
Starting from the basic functions: scales, arpeggios, accompaniment, walking bass, the solo, up to the function of these two instruments in different musical styles.
From a practical point of view, it will also be possible to exchange opinions and advice on setting up the instrument (strings, bridge, etc.), which Ares Tavolazzi considers a fundamental part for every instrumentalist.
The meeting is in any case open to all musicians interested in an exchange of information and personal experiences on the jazz language through the experience of ensemble music put into practice during the workshop.
